NMO support

Previous IPOPI Biennial Meetings

The IPOPI Global Patients´Meeting (GPM) is one of IPOPI´s key biennial events and is organised back to back with the European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID) and International Nursing Group for Immunodeficiencies (INGID) biennial congresses.

The GPM is more than just a gathering—it is a meaningful 3-day gathering where IPOPI members from around the world come together in person to share experiences, establish new connections, and foster valuable collaborations.

IPOPI XVII Global Patient Meeting – October 12-15, 2022

IPOPI had the great pleasure of welcoming 100 delegates from 34 countries from all over the world to Gothenburg, Sweden.

This global meeting provided the participants with an update on the latest developments for primary immunodeficiency (PID) by key PID experts. The programme highlighted topics such as targeted therapiesclinical research and trials and newborn screening. This year we also welcomed two exciting new sessions: “Back to the future, looking towards 2030”, a thought-provoking session on the future of PIDs; and “PID talks: Share, Learn and Get Inspired”, a speed dating session to discover 18 NMO initiatives across diverse topics. Lastly, the IPOPI’s Medical Advisory Panel (MAP) session provided a great platform for discussions, with participants asking several complex questions to the MAP members.

IPOPI XVI Global Patient Meeting – October 15-16, 2020 (Online)

IPOPI welcomed 200 delegates from 40 countries from all over the world to the XVI Global Patients Meeting (GPM).  The meeting was originally taking place in Birmingham, UK, but was moved online due to the concerning development of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this change of plans we were grateful for the opportunity to organise this virtually for the very first time and ensure that the PID patient community could continue to unite and grow stronger together.
