This IPOPI webinar will provide an overview of the different types of genetic testing for PIDs, explain how they impact clinical care and which patients should get tested.
Our guest speaker, Dr Pamela Lee from Hong Kong, will also explain how accessible to patients and families these tests are and what efforts are being to increase accessibility.
The Webinar Q&A will have the participation of Dr Virgil Dalm from The Netherlands.

Dr Lee

Dr Pamela Lee is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, LKS Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong Honorary Consultant, Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, at the Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong.

She received training in the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, London and is currently appointed as Honorary Consultant for the HSCT service at the Hong Kong Children’s Hospital and The HKU-Shenzhen Hospital. Pamela is a lead organizer for a series of ‘Summer Schools’ for the Asia Pacific Society for Primary Immunodeficiencies (APSID) and The Viva-Asia Blood and Marrow Transplant (VABMT) Consortium since 2015 and 2017, respectively. She is the medical adviser for PID League, a PID advocacy group established in Hong Kong since 2015.
