In this session, Dr Reem Elfeky will trace the timeline of key discoveries in Adenosine Deaminase Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (ADA-SCID), taking us through the journey from diagnosis to current management strategies. Moreover, she will highlight recent developments and ongoing challenges in therapy. Following that, Prof Fabio Candotti will explore what is known about the long-term effects of ADA-SCID treatments and discuss the outlook for patients living with this genetic condition.
