International Patient Organisation for Primary Immunodeficiency Biennial 2010, Istanbul 6th–9th October 2010

Please note that the IPOPI Biennial is taking place in Istanbul Turkey in October 2010. This exciting event is offered to all National Member Organisations (NMO’s) so start your fundraising to send members now!

The programme covers such topics as

  • What does early diagnosis and optimal treatment mean in a developing country?
  • What are the risks of vaccinations for PID patients?
  • Will ant-flu vaccinations be recommendable for primary immunodeficiencies?
  • What kinds of treatments are available in treating PID patients?
  • Which can be done at home and which will have to be done in hospital?
  • What have been the outcome, results, and experiences from regional meetings?
  • Running an NMO with means or without!
  • Safety and availability of immunoglobulin outside Europe
  • A progressive treatment proposal, when you have no or limited access to immunoglobulin

The biennial is in conjunction with ESID and INGID so it is a wonderful opportunity to meet up with other people in the field of primary immunodeficiency. For more information contact David Watters on
